Creand Life Provision
In addition to compensation in the event of death, Life Provision offers a comprehensive bereavement service to the insured person and their family members.
Features of Life Provision
If you live in Andorra and you are under the age of 65, you can take out this service and enjoy the benefits of Life Provision. The insurance policy, once taken out, remains in force until the death of the insured person.
Comprehensive service at the time of the bereavement. Neither the insured person nor their beneficiaries are left unassisted under any circumstances.
Both the formalities and the funeral are handled by professionals. Administrative services are included to relieve the family of the burden of formalities following the bereavement.
Enjoy a 10% discount on the premium for the first 6 months if you have your salary paid directly into Creand.
Life Provision Benefits
Insured capital
In the event of death, you can choose an insured capital sum of between €1,500 and €6,500.
Formalities and funeral costs
In addition to assistance with formalities, the insurance also includes payment of funeral costs up to a maximum capital sum of €6,500. If the expenses are lower than the insured limit, the surplus will be paid to the beneficiaries.
Repatriation
The insurance covers the repatriation expenses, both from abroad to Andorra and from Andorra to the insured person’s country of origin.
Additional guarantees
At an additional premium cost, other guarantees can be taken out to cover death caused by accident:
- Guarantee of between an additional €1,500 and €6,500 (in total between €3,000 and €13,000) in the event of the accidental death of the insured person.
- Guarantee of between an additional €1,500 and €6,500 (in total between €4,500 and €19,500) in the event of the death of the insured person as a result of a traffic accident.
- Guarantee of between an additional €1,500 and €6,500 (in total between €6,000 and €26,000) in the event the insured person and their spouse die together as a result of a traffic accident.
- Guarantee of between an additional €1,500 and €6,500 in the event the insured person suffers total permanent disability.
- Guarantee of between an additional €1,500 and €6,500 (in total between €3,000 and €13,000) in the event the insured person suffers total permanent disability as a result of an accident.
Life Provision Benefits
The family members and/or beneficiaries of the insured person can call the funeral company Pompas Fúnebras de Les Valls on +376 86 66 32 (24 h). The caller must identify themselves as a relative and/or beneficiary of the deceased person who is insured with Creand.
The repatriation of the deceased insured person outside the European Union, with the exception of countries in Northwest Africa (Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia), will only be possible once the deceased has been cremated.
