Creand Health Plus insurance 

Health Plus Insurance covers the medical expenses not reimbursed by the CASS, either with or without the Via Preferent, up to a maximum of 100% of the CASS rate. 

Features of the Health Plus Insurance 

Creand’s Health Plus Insurance is designed for people who are affiliated or voluntarily insured with the CASS.  

Choose between individual or family insurance cover. 

Hospitalisation expenses not covered by the CASS that are incurred at the Hospital Nostra Senyora de Meritxell are managed directly between Creand’s insurer and the hospital. 

We will notify you by email or SMS each time a reimbursement is made on your insurance policy.

Health Plus Insurance Benefits 

Health Plus Insurance offers reimbursement coverage for medical, pharmacy and hospital expenses up to 100% of the CASS rates for medical assistance with or without the Via Preferent. 

Supplementary coverage is included for homoeopathy (diagnostics and treatment), speech therapy, orthoptics (vision rehabilitation), psychiatry, orthopaedics, internal dental and non-dental prostheses per calendar year, and much more. 

Up to 100% of the CASS rate at private centres. 

In the event of the death of the insured person (aged between 18 and 70), Health Plus pays the beneficiaries compensation of up to €6,000. 

Health Insurance Waiting Periods  


30 days for medical assistance. 


10 months for maternity care. 


6 months for orthoptics, orthodontics, dental and non-dental prostheses. 

No waiting periods if you take out Health Plus when you switch company and these periods have already passed with an equivalent product from the previous company. 

Medical directory 

Coverage throughout Spain 

The insurance offers the possibility of additionally contracting a Medical Directory with coverage throughout Spain, with over 45,000 professionals and 13,000 medical centres. This includes centres such as Teknon, Quirón and Dexeus. 

Having access to this medical directory gives the insured person the convenience of not having to make any payments in advance.
