Creand Health Collective 

Health insurance that covers the portion of the medical expenses not reimbursed by the CASS through the Via Preferent, up to a maximum of 100% of the CASS rate. 

Creand’s insurance policies are products taken out with CA Vida Assegurances, SA. 

Features of Creand Health Collective 

Designed for companies that want to insure employees who are registered with the CASS as salaried employees or voluntarily insured (as well as their beneficiary family members). 


Possibility to choose between individual or family insurance. 


Discount of 10% on the individual rate and 30% on the health premium for spouses and unmarried (de facto) partners. 


Hospitalisation expenses not covered by the CASS that are incurred at the Hospital Nostra Senyora de Meritxell are managed directly between Creand’s insurer and the hospital itself. 


Extensive network of branches for depositing outstanding medical bills. 


The email adress allows you to send scanned invoices directly to Creand Assegurances Vida. 


We activate an email or SMS notification service when a reimbursement is made on your insurance. 

Creand Health Collective Benefits 

Creand Health Collective offers reimbursement coverage for medical, pharmacy and hospital expenses up to 100% of the CASS rates for medical assistance with the Via Preferent. 

Supplementary coverage is included for homoeopathy (diagnostics and treatment), speech therapy, orthoptics (vision rehabilitation), psychiatry, orthopaedics, internal dental and non-dental prostheses per calendar year, and much more. 

In the event of the death of the insured persons (aged between 18 and 70), Creand Health Collective pays the beneficiaries compensation of up to €60,000 depending on the guaranteed capital.

Medical directory 

Coverage throughout Spain

The insurance offers the possibility of additionally contracting a Medical Directory with coverage throughout Spain, with over 45,000 professionals and 13,000 medical centres. This includes centres such as Teknon, Quirón and Dexeus. 

Having access to this medical directory gives the insured person the convenience of not having to make any payments in advance.

When a medical insurance policy includes waiting periods it means that you will have to wait a certain amount of time after you start enjoying the benefits of the policy in order to be able to access certain guarantees.

The companies establish this period to protect themselves from those clients who only want to sign up to solve some ailment or medical need and, once resolved, they leave. However, each company establishes the conditions for defining what the waiting period is, as they can vary according to their guarantee.

Likewise, another reason why insurance companies include waiting periods in their medical insurance policies is to prevent clients from having to be treated for an illness that already exists at the time they are discharged.
